Nestling in the foothills of the acclaimed UNESCO Waterberg Biosphere in Limpopo, Legola Private Wildlife Reserve is an exclusive 6500 hectare private game reserve north-west from Gauteng in the Limpopo Province.

Vast, peaceful and incredibly beautiful, the Waterberg region is a fascinating destination with a rich cultural legacy and heritage coupled with a natural splendour that is particularly appealing to those in need of a place to unwind.

Accommodation

A stunning waterhole is situated close by the self catering chalets and is frequented by the game species affording guests wonderful sightings whilst enjoying a drink on their private terrace overlooking the waterhole.

Relax around the campfire with an unique African sunset as backdrop. Enjoying a “braai” under the African night-sky is something that all guests visiting South Africa should experience.

Hunting Safari

Legola offers a family friendly hunting environment. We specialize in rifle and bow hunting. Two professional hunters (PH) are available to ensure a pleasant hunting experience.

Photographic Safaris

Private photographic safaris are available at Legola. The following species of game roam freely and unhindered on the farm: Leopard, Buffalo, Sable, Brown Hyena, Eland, Kudu, Oryx, Giraffe, Zebra, Blue Wildebeest, Waterbuck, Impala, Klipspringer, Steenbuck, Warthog, Bushpig, Aardvark, Porcupine and smaller animals such as the Tortoise and Dassie.
